The pop star took to Instagram to upload a selfie of herself and Gracie goofing around in an elevator. Selena affectionately referred to Gracie as her “little me” and expressed how cool she thinks her sister is. Gracie is the daughter of Selena’s mother Mandy Teefey and stepfather Brian Teefey, who had her when Selena was 20. Several months back, Selena participated in a charming interview with a magazine wherein she discussed her strong bond with her younger sister. During the interview with Vogue towards the end of last year, Selena shared that her sister Gracie had started rummaging through her clothes and choosing what she liked. Selena humorously stated that she thought she would have more time with her wardrobe, but apparently not. Two years ago, Selena had taken Gracie to the Los Angeles premiere of Frozen 2, which was Gracie’s first red carpet appearance. During an interview on BBC Radio 1 Sounds, Selena disclosed the helpful advice she gave Gracie before stepping onto the carpet. Selena reassured her younger sister that if she got nervous or overwhelmed, she could just hold her hand, and they would leave immediately. Gracie responded with a simple “okay” and then confidently walked the carpet, making the most of her moment with the feathers. Selena fondly recalled being left behind and urging Gracie to include her in the pictures as she was having the time of her life.
